Everest Group, a global leader in insurance and reinsurance, has announced the appointment of Pamela Sinclair as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Her role becomes effective July 14, 2025, and she will report directly to Jim Williamson, Everest’s President and CEO.
This strategic hire marks a significant step in the company’s focus on global talent leadership, especially as it continues to scale operations across multiple regions.
Pamela Sinclair Brings Global HR Expertise to Everest Group
With more than 30 years of experience in human resources, Sinclair joins Everest from PGIM, the investment management arm of Prudential Financial. There, she served as Global Head of Human Resources, overseeing HR strategy for over 4,500 employees across the globe. Her responsibilities included recruitment, leadership development, succession planning, compensation, and employee engagement.
Before joining PGIM, Sinclair held several senior roles at Barclays in both London and New York, including Head of Learning and Development for Barclays Capital. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in human capital management amid large-scale corporate transactions and organizational change.
Her international perspective and proven track record make her an ideal fit for Everest’s evolving global strategy.

Leadership Transition at a Milestone Moment
Sinclair will succeed Gail Van Beveren, who is retiring after nearly 40 years with Everest. Van Beveren has been with the company since 1986 and led its human resources team through multiple phases of organizational growth and transformation.
“Pam is an experienced HR leader with a record of aligning people strategies with business priorities,” said Jim Williamson. “Her international experience will support Everest’s operational goals and contribute to our long-term talent strategy.”
He also expressed appreciation for Van Beveren’s remarkable contributions, saying, “We thank Gail for her dedication to Everest over nearly 40 years and wish her all the best in retirement.”
