Inszone Insurance Services has announced the acquisition of Chacon Insurance Service, a long-standing insurance agency based in Trinidad, Colorado. They didn’t disclose the financial terms of the deal.
Founded in 1957 by Carlos Chacon, the agency has served both personal and commercial insurance needs in the Trinidad area for more than 65 years. The acquisition brings a respected local name into Inszone’s growing portfolio and reinforces the company’s commitment to community-driven service.
According to Inszone, the integration will provide Chacon’s clients with enhanced insurance offerings, along with upgraded technology support and broader market access.
Carlos Chacon shared his perspective on the decision, stating:
“I’ve been approached by Inszone several times over the years, but it never felt like the right moment. This time around, I recognised the tremendous value Inszone could bring to our clients and our employees. Their extensive market access and commitment to maintaining our local presence made them the perfect choice.”

In June 2025, the company acquired Huffmaster Insurance, a Missouri-based agency established in 1990 by Susan and Kevin Huffmaster. That move broadened Inszone’s personal and commercial lines reach across the central U.S.
Now, with the addition of Chacon Insurance, Inszone deepens its presence in Colorado, reinforcing its strategic goal of expanding through meaningful partnerships with trusted local agencies.
